4. Quotations and Pricing
4.1 Free Site Visits
We offer free site visits and measurements within Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, and other UAE emirates. A free site visit does not create any obligation to purchase.
4.2 Quotations
All quotations issued by Urban Carpet Flooring are:
- Valid for 14 days from the date of issue (unless otherwise stated in writing)
- Based on the information, measurements, and specifications provided at the time
- Subject to revision if the scope, materials, or site conditions change
- Inclusive of VAT where applicable, unless otherwise specified
If site conditions on the day of installation differ materially from those assessed during the site visit (for example: uneven sub-floor, hidden damage, or required preparation work not previously disclosed), additional charges may apply. Any such charges will be communicated and agreed with you in writing before the work is carried out.
4.3 Pricing
All prices are in UAE Dirhams (AED) and include applicable Value Added Tax (VAT) at the current UAE rate, unless otherwise specified in the quotation.
We reserve the right to change our pricing at any time. Price changes will not affect quotations already accepted.
5. Orders and Payment
5.1 Order Confirmation
A binding contract between you and Urban Carpet Flooring is formed when:
- You accept our written quotation (by email, WhatsApp, signed document, or confirmed verbal agreement); AND
- You pay the agreed deposit (where applicable)
5.2 Deposit
For most projects, a deposit is required to confirm your order and schedule installation. The deposit amount will be specified in your quotation — typically 50% for standard residential projects and as mutually agreed for commercial projects.
5.3 Balance Payment
The balance is due upon completion of installation and final handover, unless other payment terms are agreed in writing.
5.4 Accepted Payment Methods
We accept:
- Bank transfer
- Cash (subject to UAE cash payment regulations)
- Cheque (payable to Urban Carpet Flooring)
- Credit/debit card (where available)
5.5 Late Payment
If payment is not received by the agreed due date, we reserve the right to:
- Charge a late payment fee or interest as permitted under UAE law
- Suspend ongoing work until payment is received
- Withhold warranty activation until full payment is settled
- Pursue recovery through legal channels in the UAE
5.6 Invoices
All invoices will be issued in accordance with UAE VAT law. Please verify the accuracy of every invoice and raise any disputes within 7 days of receipt.
6. Installation Services
6.1 Scheduling
Installation dates are confirmed after deposit receipt and subject to material availability. We aim to begin installation within the timeframe agreed in your quotation but cannot guarantee specific dates where circumstances beyond our control apply (supplier delays, customs clearance, weather, force majeure).
6.2 Site Access
You must provide:
- Safe, reasonable access to the installation site on the agreed dates
- A cleared installation area free of furniture, obstructions, and fragile items (unless we’ve quoted for site clearing separately)
- Access to water, electricity, and sanitary facilities as reasonably required
- Relevant building permissions where required (e.g., apartment building approvals, community permissions)
Delays caused by restricted site access, missing approvals, or unprepared sites may incur additional charges.
6.3 Sub-Floor Condition
Carpet installation requires a clean, dry, level sub-floor. If the sub-floor is found to be unsuitable on the day of installation, we will:
- Notify you immediately
- Provide options to remedy (at additional cost where applicable)
- Rescheduling the installation if required
We are not responsible for any carpet performance issues arising from pre-existing sub-floor defects that were not disclosed or visible during the initial site visit.
6.4 Installation Standards
All installations are carried out by our in-house team in accordance with manufacturer specifications and industry best practices. You will be given a final walk-through and handover upon completion.
6.5 Disposal of Old Carpet
Removal and disposal of existing flooring can be included in your quotation on request. If not quoted, removal and disposal are the client’s responsibility.
7. Warranty
7.1 Product Warranty
All carpets we supply come with the original manufacturer’s warranty. The warranty duration and coverage depends on the specific product and will be confirmed in your quotation.
7.2 Installation Warranty
We provide a workmanship warranty on all installations carried out by our in-house team. This covers:
- Defects in installation quality (edge sealing, seaming, stretching, trimming)
- Carpet lifting, loose seams, or fitting defects caused by our workmanship
7.3 What the Warranty Does Not Cover
The warranty does not cover:
- General wear and tear
- Damage caused by misuse, neglect, or improper cleaning
- Stains, burns, cuts, or damage caused by pets or accidents
- Damage from flooding, water leaks, or sub-floor moisture issues
- Colour fading due to direct sunlight exposure beyond manufacturer tolerance
- Damage caused by heavy furniture, wheeled chairs without protection, or sharp objects
- Any modifications made by third parties after installation
- Normal compression or flattening in high-traffic areas (reversible with maintenance)
7.4 Making a Warranty Claim
To make a warranty claim, contact us within the warranty period at info@urbancarpetflooring.ae with:
- Your invoice number
- Date of installation
- Clear photos of the issue
- A written description of the problem
We will arrange a site inspection and, where the claim is valid, carry out repairs or replacement at no additional cost to you.
8. Cancellations, Returns, and Refunds
8.1 Cancellation by the Client
- Before order confirmation: You may withdraw your enquiry at any time with no charge.
- After order confirmation but before material ordering: Cancellations may incur a small admin charge to cover site visit and quotation costs.
- After material ordering but before installation: The deposit may be retained in full or part to cover material costs, cutting charges, and restocking fees (as applicable).
- After installation has commenced: Cancellation is not typically possible. If required, the full cost of work completed plus any uninstalled materials will be payable.
8.2 Refunds
Refund eligibility depends on the stage of the project (see 8.1). Where a refund is due, it will be processed within 14 working days of agreement, using the original payment method where possible.
8.3 Custom Orders
Custom-cut carpets, made-to-order rugs, and specially imported materials are non-refundable once ordered, unless the item is faulty or materially different from what was agreed.

We reserve the right to cancel an order or decline to proceed in cases of:
- Non-payment of deposit or balance
- Material misrepresentation of site conditions
- Unsafe or inaccessible installation site

In such cases, any deposit received will be refunded minus reasonable costs already incurred.

13. Privacy and Data Protection
Your personal information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
14. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our business, services, or legal requirements. The “Last Updated” date at the top of this page will show when changes were made.
For projects already in progress, the Terms that applied at the time of your order confirmation will continue to apply unless both parties agree in writing to the updated Terms.
